In an effort to make it easier for EDS volunteers to access information related to training, events and other news we are now on Blogger and Facebook!!
In these locations you will be able to find information on training dates, opportunities to volunteer for planned events and other related information. Facebook will also have pictures from incidents, trainings and events - those won't be available on this blog.
To start off with, here is an upcoming volunteer opportunity:
- September 18 @ 10am, a couple of volunteers might be needed for an exercise at Edmonton International Airport. More details will be available later next week.
Also, there will be a volunteer lunch and information session coming up this fall - likely in November. This will be an opportunity for all current, new and potential volunteers to get together, meet with the new coordinator, and to gain understanding of where EDS is heading in Edmonton over the next while. More information should be available shortly.
